Tarik Paul

18 Year-Old Tarik Paul was severely burned across his entire body during a bullying incident while playing with friends. He has since received some medical treatment, but due to the extent of his injuries, he must travel to the United States from his home in St. Lucia, for advanced medical care at an expense which his family are unable to afford.

SHEA Charity accepted Tarik’s case in September 2017, in which he traveled to the United States to begin treatment on October 17,  2017. This first phase of Tarik’s treatment was a success; he must now rest and recover for a few months, then return to the hospital for two additional sets of surgeries in early 2018.

Funds are needed for airfare, housing, ground transportation, meals, and basic necessities. We will gladly accept offers from anyone willing to sponsor any of these needs. The estimated cost of his treatment is $15,000; however, we have only raised $500 for Tarik since September 2017. Without donations we are unable to help children like Tarik, so we are desperately pleading for assistance on his behalf.  Please help us help Tarik by making a donation towards his treatment and recovery.

SHEA is a publicly funded charity, which is managed by volunteers. 100% of all donations are allocated to patient care. See our Silver Star Commitment to Transperancy rating at GuideStar. https://www.guidestar.org/profile/47-5525774
